Cherry yoghurt lollies

Updated: Jun 25, 2020

These are refreshing and creamy and so easy to make.

Makes around 4 depending on the size of mould.

What you need

Saucepan

blender

jug

ice lolly moulds

Ingredients

200g cherries

1 tbsp runny honey

4 tbsp greek yoghurt

What to do

Grown up Remove the stones from the cherries (older kids can help with this, even better if you have a cherry pitter).

Kids Put the cherries in the pan with the honey and a splash of water. Put the lid on and simmer on the hob on a low heat for around 10 mins. If they look like they're getting dry adda splash more water.

Grown up Let the cherries cool and put them in a jug, then blend with a stick blender.

Kids Put in the fridge until completely cold. Then add the yogurt and mix until it's all combined.

Pour into the ice lolly moulds and freeze.
